What is dogGPT®?

dogGPT is a 'Large Language Model' machine learning tool designed to answer owner questions and help them better understand their dog's behavior and needs, by drawing from validated resources like the Good Owners Guide to Dogs.

Dog behavior is profoundly nuanced and complex. To properly understand and influence it, it is crucial to work with a professional trainer.
In general, dogGPT® has been designed to help you understand the possible reasons why your dog may be doing something, not to walk you through how to address it. To take action, you must work with a professional who has the skills and experience needed to properly diagnose and address the root causes of your dog's behavior.
It's also meant to help you assess whether a potential trainer is the right fit for you: for each of the factors dogGPT® brings up, can this trainer explain what they mean? How do they determine which, if any, is at work in your dog's case? How would their approach change depending on the root cause?
At this time dogGPT® is unable to answer questions on Health or Nutrition. That is on our roadmap for future development.
Answers are generated by our Machine Learning algorithms. While they have been heavily refined and draw from validated resources, they can still make errors. Any answers should be reviewed by an experienced, professional trainer prior to taking any action.
